Jeremiah 6:16: This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."

The world of the third millennium educates itself through literature, art, media in a completely individualistic spirit.

In today's society, each individual tries to stand out and put to use their characteristic features which leads to the increase of the level of society in direct ratio with the perseverance of those who belong to it. However, these traits and ways of thinking give shape to different paths to follow, paths which are often in contradiction and this leads to the chaos effect.
In order to preserve the harmony of the community, people have been searching for a model of behaving which could be universally available and able to be sunk into the minds of all citizens. They found inspiration in religious models of the world, especially the christian ones on the basis on which they founded the so-called "unwritten rules of behavior", that is morality.

The dictionary definition of morality is that it is an ideal code of conduct, of behaving in society. Breaking these rules is not sanctioned by law, but by the public opinion. History shows that in the past moral values have been an important pillar in educating the society, from common people to royalty, being carefully studied and put into practice.

And yet, what has happened over the years so that today, when we hear about moral values we think that this was good enough only in our grandparents' times or in the best of cases if we may use them today, they don't exist anymore?

Have moral values or our way of thinking been denaturized? Well, both. In fact, these two are strongly connected. We understand by morals that boring set of rules which can be interpreted, which implies no real motivation. And as the public opinion is confused about it, immoral behaviors are no longer sanctioned. Nowadays, moral values have lost their essence, what is left of them is a broken shell. It lacks that strength which used to give it life, that "why" which is often on our lips, the motivation, Jesus Christ. The word which kills is now stronger than the love which gives life. And this evil of death is due to the fact that people have chosen to depart from real life, from divinity, without whom nothing makes sense. Leaving the ancient paths, stamped in the real faith led people's footsteps on a dry land, above which you can feel the air of your soul's death floating. This is why everything seems relative, because we no longer know the Absolute. We have banned God from our preoccupations, from our heart, from our thoughts...

Moralia Association wants to guide the young people's thoughts towards the "ancient paths", those paths which have a clear direction and towards which you should be strongly motivated, towards that way of living in which you know where you go to, but more, to know HOW to get there. Because we all want fulfillment, but we don't know how to reach it. This is a first step, a very important one to establish your priorities in life. But don't forget, you have to get to know your Motivation very well.
